Queens Dog Training
I came across an article on the net regarding Pit bulls and Queens dog parks. As many of you know Queens dog training is provided by us. This article made some good points and lead me to several other articles relating to the need for dog training in Queens.
The first article I was reading on a blog spoke about how Pit bulls had to be muzzled in a Queens dog park, I was appalled, as any Queens dog trainer should be. I also read how Pit bulls in dog parks were a big NO-NO. We all know that breed has received a bad rap to say the least. Instead of adding to the hype regarding Pit bulls, lets talk about dog parks, dog owners, and dog obedience training.
There are many mixed opinions as it relates to dog parks. Many opponents will tell you how unsafe it is for dogs, and how dog owners are irresponsibly supervising their dogs. They often will go on to say how, you have no control over what happens in the dog park, therefore the environment is an accident waiting to happen. I agree with many of those claims.
Before I lose the members of Dedicated Dog Training, let me clarify my statement as it relates to my position. I agree many times it is unsafe at dog parks; this largely depends on who is there. You do see more and more unsupervised dogs at the parks, and dogs biting other dogs do happen. People get into vehicle accidents, fall down stairs, get stuck in elevators, twist their ankles playing sports, catch colds from other kids, etc...We still participate in many of these events to maintain a happy quality of life. Most responsible dog owners I believe gravitate towards happiness, some people gravitate away from fear. We all choose different philosophies to live our lives by. So, what can I do to protect my dog at this Queens dog park and still allow him to have fun?
Dog training is a must if you are going to spend time in the dog park. You may not be able to control other peoples dog's but you will be able to control yours. The usual scenario in a dog park is a pack of dogs battling it out, if this is the case call your dog to you. Off-Leash Dog Training in Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, Staten Island, NYC, and of course Long Island is our speciality. Your dog will be trained to COME under DISTRACTIONS of all sorts. Our dog training company will educate you on how to read dog body language, and what to look for before a problem arises.
Well, if you are going to visit a dog park in Queens, there is no excuse anymore, Dedicated Dog Training provides Queens dog training for your dog park needs.
